Job Opening: Part Time Pet Sitter
Thank you for your interest in working for Menlys Pet Care! We are currently seeking a mature, responsible, pet loving adult for a part time pet sitting/dog walking position. The position requires work on weekends and holidays and the applicant must have a flexible schedule.
General Requirements
- Must live in Farmington, Livonia, Northville, Novi, Plymouth, South Lyon, Wixom or Walled Lake
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Flexible schedule
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Able to work in all types of weather
- Prior animal care experience is a must
- Able to lift heavy items such as bags of food, crates and sometimes pets
- Able to walk up to 45 minutes at a time, multiple times a day
- Access to internet/email
- Cell phone w/texting
- Reliable transportation
- Able to make a one year commitment to Menlys Pet Care
General Duties Include
- Lots of TLC
- Walking
- Feeding
- Cleaning up after pets
- Scooping litter boxes
- Administering pills
- Cleaning pet bowls
- Bringing in mail/newspaper
- Bringing in/taking out trash
