After you’ve decided to use Menlys Pet Care for your pet sitting needs, we will set up an initial client consult (Meet and Greet). At this initial meeting we will get to know you and your pet, go over your pet’s routine, pick up a copy of your key, completed New Client Packet and payment for services. This is also your opportunity to meet the sitter that will be taking care of your pet. We offer this service at no charge to clients who book pet sitting services either before or during the consultation. If you chose not to book services with us, there will be a $25 fee for this initial consultation. If you request to have a second consultation for any reason, we are happy to accommodate your needs and there will be full visit charge.
New clients will be required to pay for services at the time of the initial consultation. Once you’re an existing client, an invoice will be emailed to you prior to service and you can pay online through your checking account or by cash/check prior to services starting.
We ask that all new clients book services two weeks prior to the date they will need a pet sitter. If you’re an existing client we ask for at least 3 days’ notice.
We require that all dogs be visited a minimum of 12 hours if they’re not crated. If dogs are crated, we require visits every 6 hours except during the night. We require visits for cats every 24 hours.

Holiday visits are charged a $5 surcharge. Holidays are Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
