How To Set Up Service
Step One – Contact Us
The best way to contact Menlys Pet Care is by filling out our contact form. You can also email us at info@menlyspetcare.com or call us at 248-291-PETS. Though we strive to contact each customer back within a timely manner (usually within a couple of hours), please allow up to 24 hours for your email or phone call to be returned.
**Please note – if you contact us via contact form, we will be emailing you back. If you would prefer that we call you, please say so in the “anything else we should know” section of the contact form
Step Two – Set Up a Complimentary Meet and Greet
Once you have contacted us and we’ve gone over your service needs, the next step is to schedule a FREE initial consultation (also called a Meet and Greet). Our Meet and Greets are available Monday through Friday in the evenings. This initial visit allows you to meet us, and we can get to know your pets and their routines. Payment for services is due at the time of the meet and greet.
Step Three – The New Client Packet
The New Client Packet is to be printed off and completed BEFORE your scheduled meet and greet. If you have any problems downloading the packet, contact us and we will email it to you.

Step Four – Keys
Though we are glad to accept garage codes and garage door openers as our main source of entry, we do require a copy of your key for backup in case of a power outage or technical malfunction. You may leave your key on file with us for future service; all keys are specially coded and kept locked and secure. If you do not wish to leave your key on file with us, that’s okay too.
Step Five – The Meet and Greet
This initial meeting lasts around 30 minutes in length and gives us the opportunity to get to know your pets and how you usually do things at home. We will go over feeding schedules, exercise requirements, the locations of the things we will need while caring for your pet (food, litter boxes, leashes, crates etc.) and more. You will also get a chance to ask us any questions you might have regarding our company or pet sitting services in general.
Please be sure you have the following things ready for your meet and greet:
- Completed New Client Packet
- Copy of your key
- Finalized service plans (dates, number of visits etc.)
- Payment for services
Step Six- Relax and Let Us Do The Work!
Once you’ve completed all the steps above it’s time to relax and enjoy the benefits of hiring a Menlys Pet Care pet sitter! While we are taking care of your pet, you can easily contact us via phone calls, texts and emails. We will leave you a “report card” on how your pet did at our last visit or if you’re a dog walking client, we will leave you notes after each walk.
We also make scheduling services a breeze! Once we’ve received your New Client Packet we will upload your information into our online scheduling and profile system. From here you are able to schedule new appointments, review old ones and keep your pet’s care instructions up to date. If you prefer to call, text or email to schedule your services, you can do that as well!
